Ben the Illustrator: Art Print for the Royal London Hospital

Ben was recently asked by Vital Arts to contribute some artwork to be exhibited in the children’s consultancy room at The Royal London Hospital.  From the outset he aimed to create a piece of artwork that brought colour and optimism to the room, he also spent some time focusing on a certain level of detail that would captivate the young patients that use the space.
Vital Arts do an incredible job of bringing artwork and performances to the Barts Health NHS Trust in London, we think we can all agree that hospitals are perhaps the one place that deserves creativity and inspiration more than any.  If you would like to donate to Vital Arts then they are currently fundraising for the arts strategy for a new children’s hospital, CLICK HERE to make a donation.

Ben the Illustrator: The Ride Journal

We just love this latest illustration entitled ‘New Wave’ by Ben the Illustrator for ‘The Ride Journal.’ The Ride Journal is a publication that Ben has long admired for its design and print quality, so he was delighted to be asked to contribute to their latest edition (issue no.7).  He illustrated this image to accompany a really inspiring article called ‘New Wave.’ The article is by Jack Staples, a former surfer, who suffered back problems forcing him to leave his board and find a new love, which turned out to be cycling. You can check out more of Ben’s work here.
